Labyrinth takes place in the Pedway system—a network of underground commuter tunnels under the Loop. During the treasure hunt, teams compete to be the first to follow a trail of clues, solve a series of puzzles and challenges, and interact covertly with Waxwing insiders scattered throughout the Pedway.

Speakeasy is a game of creative deception, hidden identities, and strategy. Each player gets a secret role on one of two teams: the Mob or the Feds. The fog of war is thick in the beginning, as playersʼ first task is to use their secret passwords to identify who they can trust. As the game goes on, players learn how to hustle as they continue to identify and organize their teammates, discover the other teamsʼ secrets, sow misinformation, infiltrate the opposition, and score points—all while watching their own backs.
In Enigma, teams use their creativity and problem solve to locate and crack a series of puzzles hidden throughout the area, all while keeping a lookout for other teams who are trying to steal points from them.
When the game begins each team receives a map of the game area and are free to find and solve the puzzles at each location in any order they choose. The team that scores the most points by stealing points from other teams or correctly solving puzzles, wins.

In Heist, teams are assigned a gallery in a museum and must choose a piece of art by taking a picture of 1/2 of it and texting it to another team. The game begins when every team has received a picture of another team’s chosen art, the hunt is on! Each team uses their art knowledge and context clues to find their opponent’s piece of art and “steal” it by taking a picture of the whole thing. As they prowl through the museum, players are on the look out for the other teams, who can trap or penalize them if they are found.
Checkpoint Zero is a strategic game of urban tag in which players must covertly gain access to a series of checkpoints without being tagged by an increasing number of chasers.
At the start of the game every player dons a blue wristband and becomes a “Runner” and a few Waxwing staff, wearing red wristbands are “Chasers.” The objective of the runners is to visit each of five checkpoints in the game area without getting tagged by Chasers. If a Runner is caught by a Chaser, the Runner surrenders his or her blue wristband and puts on their red wristband and joins the chaser team. The winners visit all the checkpoints without being tagged or accrue the most wristbands from runners they’ve tagged.
